Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry Director
Laura Gray - hobbie@mindspring.com
Hello, my name is Laura Gray.  I have been married to Tony Gray, campus minister at Columbus State University for 20 years.  We have 2 children, Matt - 8th Grade and Torrie - 5th Grade, who both attend Calvary Christian.  I teach part time at Calvary.  I teach children 1-5th grades Spanish and missions around the world.  I love teaching both of these since they are my passions.  I enjoy working with Children both at school and at church.  I enjoy gardening, cooking, scrap booking and writing.  I recently had the privilege of writing for "More" devotional magazine, which is a Lifeway publication for young children.  I look forward to being a part of what God is doing at Piney Grove!

In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them . . .”!  We take our ministry to children very seriously, and there are many opportunities for children to have a great time and to learn about Jesus Christ in a safe environment.  Whether it be through childcare or weekly activities, we strive to ensure the parents have a great place to bring their children where they will be loved, cared for, and taught about God’s love for them.
